During the Day

Once again we’ll call the Walker Art Center home for our daytime activities. Home to contemporary art and so much more since 1927, it provides great spaces for daytime talks, workshops and labs. In 2005 a major expansion was completed, resulting in aesthetically and technologically sophisticated facility. Some may recall that in 2016 another large construction project was completed, we have the pleasure of calling this newly updated space home for the week. Amenities include a restaurant, a cafe, and various relaxing outdoor spaces including a sculpture park, plus a pretty satisfying bookstore if you dig design, art & architecture. We’ll be here 10-5ish everyday during Eyeo.

Each evening keynotes and mixers will be held at different stunning venues around town. See below.

To what Airport? MSP

Fly into the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP)

Get Downtown

We’ve got a great lightrail line that’ll take you from the airport to downtown Minneapolis for less than $3. Taxis cost about $35 to downtown Minneapolis. You can also have App based car services pick you up at the airport.

Find a Place to Stay

Get a place to stay near the Walker Art Center (Near Loring Park) cause that’s where most of the eyeo action is. However, Minneapolis isn’t a huge city and almost any downtown hotel will be a 10 minute car trip at most to the Walker. We recommend booking your hotel or AirBnB as soon as possible. Hotel demand in June is pretty heavy – it’s one of the few lovely months we have here between winters.
