During the Day
Once again we’ll call the Walker Art Center home for our daytime activities. Home to contemporary art and so much more since 1927, it provides great spaces for daytime talks, workshops and labs. In 2005 a major expansion was completed, resulting in aesthetically and technologically sophisticated facility. Amenities include a restaurant/cafe, and various relaxing outdoor spaces including a sculpture park, plus a pretty satisfying bookstore if you dig design, art & architecture. We’ll be here 10-5ish everyday during Eyeo.
Each evening keynotes and mixers will be held at different stunning venues around town. See below.

Code+Care Summit
Structured as an ‘un-conference’, Code+Care provides a forum for every attendee to lead discussions, present work, teach workshops and devise new models for effective communication. This mini-conference will follow a ‘wiki’ format, meaning that the schedule for the event will be constructed and edited by the attendees themselves, based on their shared enthusiasms and interests. A separate registration for the Summit is required.

To what Airport? MSP
Fly into the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP)
Get Downtown
We’ve got a great lightrail line that’ll take you from the airport to downtown Minneapolis for less than $3. Taxis cost about $35 to downtown Minneapolis. App based car services can pick up at the airport.
Find a Place to Stay
Get a place to stay near the Walker Art Center (Near Loring Park) cause that’s where most of the eyeo action is. However, Minneapolis isn’t a huge city and almost any downtown hotel will be a 10 minute car trip at most to the Walker. We recommend booking your hotel or AirBnB as soon as possible. Hotel demand in June is pretty heavy – it’s one of the few lovely months we have here between winters.
